Located in the Balule Nature Reserve, approximately 50km south west ofPhalaborwa off the R40, west of Olifants North Game Reserve, on the north bank of the Olifants River.
Consisting of some 94 stands each approximately 21ha in extent, this was one of the first areas to drop fences and promote eco tourism.
There is a formal conservancy, but the owners have no need to appoint a warden.
There is a strong community ethos, and the owners have taken it upon themselves to develop game drive trails for their mutual enjoyment.
No further sub divisions will be approved, and commercial activ ity is limited to 12 commercial beds per 21ha stand.
There are currently 4 commercial lodges operating successfully in the area.
Levies are currently around R2 500 per annum.
Undeveloped stands are available from around R1 million.
Situated in an escarpment area, there are stunning views, tall trees and areas of thick bush. Predominantly combretum / acacia veld, Parsons is open to the Greater Kruger Park.
This reserve offers the complete getaway and absolute privacy if you want it.
Access roads require a vehicle with clearance, and in the rainy season a 4x4 would be a big advantage.
